Day 06 - 12/Jan/24 - At sea to Punta Arenas, Chile - Day 2
Today was another slow sea day although I was awake just after 6am to be able to see the El Brujo Glacier which we reached around 8am. It was quite pretty and I discovered a hidden location from which to photograph it (deck 11 Retreat Area). The bow was quite crowded and I didn't bother to go there.
Ed gave a port presentation on Ushuaia and the only excitement of the afternoon was when we passed the wreck of the Leonardo which is a favorite sight on this route. As we exited the fjord in the late afternoon we encountered for my first time a cargo ship heading north past us. I also had a nice conversation with Adam, billboard pianist. He explained that the Oosterdam was the first to have a solo piano singer in the billboard onboard venue. Apparently the Westerdam now has it as well.

At dinner we met Duane & Cheryl who are from a nearby town to us. It was a fun chat.
Ric Steele performed another fine show and he was followed by Adam in Billboard onboard who did two hot country sets.

Tomorrow is Punta Arenas which we'll walk around in.
